The founder of the Edappally Dynasty was a priest of Thrikkakara Temple, according to the historical evidences and proverbs. Another pride of Edappally is the Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram (CSK), the most renowned cultural centre in Kochi city limits. It is considered as a haven of true lovers of art, culture, and is named after Kerala’s greatest ever romantic poet, the late Changampuzha Krishna Pillai. Edappally St.George church, built in A.D 593, is one of the oldest and largest churches in India.
